Creative enrichment programs made easy.
Make & Motion brings hands-on creative programs into schools and community settings. Students in K–8 explore animation, 3D design, and creative production through structured experiences that turn ideas into finished work.
Built for schools and organizations.
Make & Motion works with schools, PTAs/PTOs, community organizations, community centers and program directors looking for creative programs that are organized, engaging and easy to host.
We bring the studio to you.
Make & Motion handles curriculum, lesson planning, instruction, equipment, software, materials and setup planning for the agreed program.
Your organization helps coordinate the space, student access, schedule, arrival and dismissal, and site-specific procedures. The goal is simple: make a strong creative program easy for your team to offer.
Formats that fit your setting.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Multi-session programs give students time to develop a project from the first idea through finished work.
WORKSHOPS
Focused experiences introduce students to a specific creative process, production method or digital tool.
ADAPTABLE PROGRAM FORMATS
Programs can be shaped around your calendar, available time, grade band, space and goals. Just let us know, and we can discuss your ideal program.
Creative programs that give students something to make.
Make & Motion is built around hands-on creative enrichment. Current and expanding program areas include animation, 3D printing, 3D modeling, film, and related creative-technology experiences. Hollywood Stop Motion Studio is our current flagship, with additional program areas in development.
Hollywood Stop Motion Studio
Bringing Hollywood Into the Classroom
Students sketch storyboards, build characters and sets, animate frame by frame, add sound, and present finished films. The experience follows a simplified real-life production workflow that keeps the work suitable for eager students.
FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
Hands-on from start to finish.
Students brainstorm, create, experiment, revise and present finished work. These are active making experiences, not passive screen time.
Along the way, they practice creative problem-solving, patience, and iteration.
PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE PROCESS, ADAPTED FOR STUDENTS
Make & Motion translates real animation, VFX and film workflows into structured, age-appropriate experiences. Founder & Lead Instructor Jackson Popiel combines professional creative-production experience with youth teaching to help students move from big ideas to finished projects.
